Corsair have completed another installation for a basement kitchen in Mayfair for healthy eating blogger, Ella Mills.

The new Plants by DE restaurant has recently opened in Mayfair, London with the kitchen located in the basement.
Space is clearly an issue in basement kitchens and Corsair designed a canopy to suit the low headheight and downstand beams that were located above the cookline. The kitchen is also on view to the diners in the basement restaurant.
Duct connections were a major issue with the restricted space, so the baffle grease filters are located in a central triangulated housing to facilitate connection to the extract ductwork.
The installation also benefits from low energy, recessed LED light fittings and an ANSUL fire suppression system to automatically protect each individual fire risk in the cookline.
